This summer we were looking for a small fan to cool our greenhouse and we needed something compact and powerful. After much research I found that this fan fits perfectly. The fan is not the quietest, but not bad either. What do you expect from a fan? It hums at high speed and "ticks" at low speed, but mostly blows hot air. We run it with a 70W solar panel connected to a temperature controller set at 90 degrees. At full power, it can open the ventilation flaps and extract warm air from the greenhouse. A small improvement I would make is better mounting brackets. It's a lightweight plastic that I would replace with lightweight aluminum. We removed our grid and painted it to match the whitewash, it's very easy to do.
