How could such a bad product be made?

The smartphone performs its functions, but there are the above shortcomings regarding both hardware and software. Before submitting for warranty repair, be sure to unlink from Mi account on i. Mi. Com, otherwise you will have to go to the warranty twice. Instructions for unbinding: go to i. Mi. Com -> enter your account -> Find device-> select the device you want to disable-> click "Disconnect Find device" -> Ok (site spelling saved). After that, the device will disconnect. Pros

Inexpensive. A capacious battery lasts for 1.5 days of heavy use (even when using a navigator program). Ability to use 2 SIM cards + memory card. From the factory there is a glued film on the screen and a silicone case. Charger for fast charging included.

Cons

The brightness of the screen is not enough when reading in direct sunlight. The proximity sensor works only in the vertical position of the phone (for example, if you lie down and talk, the sensor will not turn off the screen and false clicks are possible). The auto brightness sensor often incorrectly detects the level of light and you have to adjust the brightness manually. When you select Mute mode in the WhatsApp app, the delivery and sending sounds of the message will still be audible. Bought on April 24, 2022, stopped working six months later in October. Took it to warranty repair, where it was taken for testing. Probably marriage.
