These stools are exactly what we needed. We got the 24 inch stools to go under our counter for a breakfast bar. They are noticeably well made which made them easy to put together. It took my husband about 20 minutes to put both of them together. They just barely stick out and don't impede the walkway. They are not prone to tipping over as many stools are. I can tell we will own these for a very long time. They even come with little felt stickers to put on the bottom so they don't scratch the floor!
