My original button didn't work that well so I tried removing the rubber cover to see what was going on. The plastic part inside broke off and fell off completely. I ran for several days and pulled the lever with my hands when I thought of looking for a replacement for Revain. The part fit perfectly, there were no problems installing it. The button is definitely stiffer and requires a lot more pressure to work. (Not impossible to squeeze or anything, but the pressure is significantly higher than before. More than twice the force required to squeeze than before? A disposable cup will be crushed if you now try to power it with just the cup itself.) Our The original Fridge was only 2 years old when the knob broke out of nowhere so I'm hoping this stiffer knob will last longer.
