This is a very good monitor. Captive screws with fold-out handles made it easy to see that the base could be screwed on by hand. It also includes an HDMI cable and a DisplayPort cable, so you don't have to buy or swap one from another TV in your home. It's not a curved screen, but most people don't need it. The menu was easy to navigate and adjust to get the best picture for gaming or watching videos and movies. The IPS panel really is the best in terms of color and clarity, and it's definitely a great feature at this price point. Plus, the 144Hz refresh rate keeps your games running smoothly, and the 1ms response time means no taps or clicks appear on the screen without lag. The best feature of this panel is the dim blue light, which ASUS calls Eyecare. This reduces eye strain in dark environments such as at night or in a dark room. Great for late gaming sessions. Overall the panel is of good quality and we recommend it to anyone playing on a budget. Definitely worth it.
