Review on URBAN ARMOR GEAR UAG IPad Pro 11-Inch (1St Gen by Mido Taylor

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Offers great protection but isn't too bulky

When I switched to the Ipad 11 Pro I needed a good case and bought this case because I had the same one for my Ipad 10.5 Pro. It looks great and has good features. It's easy to install and remove on your iPad. One of the reasons I bought this case for my Ipad Pro 10.5 is that it had a secure Apple Pencil holder. It also has a pencil slot which I use, it's also secure yet easy to take out the pencil to use and put the pencil back in smoothly and easily. A feature both cases had were small holes on the back of the case for a strap or straps. I couldn't find one that UAG sells separately, but I think they sell it with other cases, like the one for the Surface Pro. I tried another case I found on Amazon that came with a strap and I installed it on this case. The belt can be seen in the photo. I use my iPad to view plans and write reviews on a construction site and I find this case to have good protection and features. One of the reasons I bought and used this case and not others is that it has a screen cover. The only downside of this case compared to the iPad 10.5 Pro case is that the screen cover is not removable. The UAG case for the Ipad 10.5 Pro was compatible with the Apple keyboard for this device and I really liked it. You can remove the screen cover and lock the keyboard. The iPad 11 Pro case is not compatible with the Apple keyboard because the design and hardware to connect this keyboard is located elsewhere. I really don't like that Apple did this. To use the keyboard, I have to take my iPad out of the case and attach it to the keyboard. I'd hate it even worse if this UAG case wasn't pretty straightforward. I think this UAG case is a great product. I really wish they could find a way to offer a case compatible with Apple keyboard but I understand it will be a complex design. 5 stars for feel (texture and material is tactile), 5 stars for durability but only 4 stars for versatility as it is not compatible with the Apple Keyboard Folio.
