It warns me about the air quality in the room. I use it in automatic mode as it's smart enough to tweak as needed. This allows you to set it manually with a timer or for sleep mode. My allergies have calmed down and the air quality has improved. This is an easy to use machine, just plug and play. It arrived quickly and well packaged. It's efficient and pretty quiet. This is especially great during allergy season as it will at least keep pollen out of that room.
