I bought these lights for a bookshelf project in my living room. Keep in mind that the power module needs to be connected to a power supply inside the switch box (as another reviewer notes), so keep that in mind when purchasing. I already had both bookshelves powered, so part of my plan was to place electrical boxes directly under the shelves. The PSU fits perfectly in the 1" space between the shelves, and the low profile also fits perfectly in the 1/4" recess under the shelves themselves. I attached two sets (one for each shelf) to a single Z -Wave wall switch connected under the shelf that connects to our home automation network and left the included toggle switch in the 'on' position and excluded the remote modules.
