I bought them for use on the basement stairs. After some construction the light source in the main room was blocked making the stairs quite dark and a little dangerous going down. I haven't decided on the permanent placement of these lights yet, so I'm just placing them on the top and bottom tiers for now. The included magnet is quite strong and the double sided tape used to attach the lights makes it easy to attach and remove when needed. These lights are so thin and light that they don't get in the way at all. The motion sensor is quite sensitive and the light turns off automatically about 10 seconds after leaving the area. It also didn't take long for her device to start charging via computer USB. less than an hour. I showed them to my mom and now she wants to order some sets for herself!
