This is a very pretty, inexpensive leash that stands up well against weather in difficult conditions. I live in Hawaii and my dog is 70 pounds and extremely active. We spend a lot of time on the beach, and I use this leash on her when we’re riding our bike - She jogs alongside. It can handle saltwater, salt air, pulling, and sudden lunges. It’s also easy to drop if I need to, and easy to hold onto as well. The only thing I will say is that sand sometimes gets in the spring clip, so on my previous lease (which was strangely stolen), I had to replace the spring clip with a carabiner. But the rest of the leash is still well worth the eight dollar price tag. And the spring clip would be perfectly fine for most people, because most people don’t leave their leashes in the sand on a regular basis.
