Very inexpensive, fills up well when wet and won't clog landfills.
What I like most about them is their biodegradability, but it wouldn't matter much if they didn't double as a kitchen sponge. Luckily they work fine. They fill well when wet and expand quickly when water flows from the kitchen faucet. The sponges were odorless and were tightly packed to avoid damage in transit. - manual or cast iron skillets or pots. At around $1 per sponge, they are very cheap - comparable to synthetic sponges, if not cheaper.
