I bought this canister which used to have good Oggi products and although they were cheap I still expected them to be decent. 3 problems were immediately apparent when you took it out of the box and one I found when I looked at the first 3 - the hinge (the only part not shown in the preview) was poorly constructed and even worse to the touch this installed. A huge gap between the ends of this ring, and not at all coaxial, appears to have been assembled with pliers. Then I see that the lid is deformed, probably because they are made so quickly that the molten plastic doesn't fully solidify. Smells cheap. The last obvious one was this label, I thought it was just glued on, but it's completely glued on with a very sticky adhesive, I lifted a small corner and saw that there was just as much left on the tin as the label, this is event . be a toxic solvent to clean or just leave the giant label behind? abominable. What I found after the immediate ones was that it has a lot of metal parts and they are all stamped without post-processing so the edges are very sharp, not sharp but not comfortable to touch. The plastic on the lid is the same, sharp where it was pressed from the mold and unfinished. Bottom line, even at a low cost, the value of this product is exceptionally low. If you have the opportunity, buy another one instead.
