Review on Excalibur 3926TCDB Dehydrator Adjustable Temperature by Maria Gray

SUPERIOR design for usability and drying. I like the transparent door (you may not be able to see what's going on at the back of the dehydrator, but you can see the food moving forward). If I didn't have a clear door, I would lose a lot of heat removing the door "just to see how it goes" during the dehydration process. This is the only dehydrator I've ever had. I tried a friend's round dehydrator and just have no comparison. I'm glad I chose the Excalibur 9 compartment over the smaller version. 9 trays fill up quickly and sometimes you want more! In addition, for some thick products, it is recommended to remove every other tray when dehydrating. I also like the timer. The white polyester strainer dryer inserts are great as you can gently bend them to extract dehydrated food and direct it into bags or containers. I would like the company to include a sheet of Paraflexx (used to make fruit peels) so the consumer would have a better product to use with a top dehydrator. PS Many thanks to all other customers who wrote their reviews on the dehydrators! It's great to be able to benefit from the experiences of others. It took me months to read the reviews and finally settled on this model. I love it!
