SUPERIOR design for usability and drying

SUPERIOR design for usability and drying. I like the transparent door (you may not be able to see what's going on at the back of the dehydrator, but you can see the food moving forward). If I didn't have a clear door, I would lose a lot of heat removing the door "just to see how it goes" during the dehydration process. This is the only dehydrator I've ever had. I tried a friend's round dehydrator and just have no comparison. I'm glad I chose the Excalibur 9 compartment over the smaller version.
