I bought this to switch between my gaming PC and Mac Mini. I haven't encountered any issues with it using my Mac Mini. When playing video games on a computer, the video is interrupted for half a second. I think this happens every time g-sync tries to change the refresh rate. A lot happens. Depending on the game, it may be completely unplayable. I used good quality 1 and 2 meter DP cables and tested the cables individually connected directly between the PC and the monitor. There were no problems with a direct connection, so it's not the cable, it's this switch.
