It makes well cooked toast. Crispy on the outside but a little soft on the inside. However, it takes a long time to make a toast. It feels like 10 mins. So after a few uses we stopped using it for making toast. Finally, you can use a regular toaster to make toast much faster. One cuisine we still cook with him today is toast with mayonnaise and egg. It turns out perfect every time. The taste reminds me of Osozai Pun in Japan. It takes 10 minutes to make one. It may take 7 minutes, but it feels like 10 minutes if you wait. Another thing I should mention is that you need to find the right bread for this toaster. Ideally, Japanese-style soft white bread is best, but is not available in the US. (Perhaps with the exception of major cities with large Japanese populations like New York, Chicago, or California.) I found some similar white bread locally, although it's not as soft as what you can buy in Japan. I suppose this toaster would make the perfect toast if I could understand the Atsugiri pun. It may not be worth the money for many US citizens due to the lack of suitable bread. Even if you miss Osozai Pun, you should try it. After all, this is an expensive toy. But sometimes a man has to spend money on toys, right. Many Thanks.
