YOU WILL LOVE YOURSELF FOR BUYING THIS THING

REVOLUTIONARY. I've already saved money. In 5 minutes you can prepare a tasty and healthy snack almost effortlessly. For a single person trying to save money, a $400 Japanese toaster might seem like a bad buy, but it was just amazing. I use it probably 4-5 times a day. I really want to have breakfast now. Wonderful. It makes incredible garlic bread toasted sandwiches. Heck, you can just put a knob of butter on a piece of bread and it becomes a piece of goodness that melts in your mouth. If…

Honor of Japanese technology!

I bought this ridiculous bread oven (it's not a toaster!) as a tribute to my days as an American engineer for a big Japanese electronics company. It's insanely expensive, only cooks one at a time, and requires an expensive transformer that takes up extra countertop space. But those are the only negative things to say. The thing is so overloaded it's almost ridiculous. I envision the team working on this project getting the green light to create the best oven ever, no matter the cost. This…

The hype is real. in toaster ovens

After seeing a YouTube video made by a guy who isn't easily impressed, I decided to do it. Wow - let me repeat it again, wow! Toaster gets double wow? Yes, it will truly change your life and the way you look at a piece of toast. Nicely toasted and savory on the outside and soft as a pillow on the inside, fresh from the oven. To really appreciate it, slice your own bread into roughly 1.5 to 5/8 inch thick slices and you'll experience the wonder of Japanese toast excellence! Mine was delivered…

Love this little toaster

This little beauty puts some other countertop appliances to shame in its beauty. I like the soft chirps he makes while toasting, the more excited chirps when time is almost up, although they are very subtle and might be overlooked in a noisy kitchen. I'm using a US transformer/converter as recommended to buy from Amazon and have learned to put the toaster plug on the right side - you really have to push. Note that you have to open it and put bread in it after it's plugged in, otherwise it won't

can make perfect toast but you need to find Japanese style white bread

It makes well cooked toast. Crispy on the outside but a little soft on the inside. However, it takes a long time to make a toast. It feels like 10 mins. So after a few uses we stopped using it for making toast. Finally, you can use a regular toaster to make toast much faster. One cuisine we still cook with him today is toast with mayonnaise and egg. It turns out perfect every time. The taste reminds me of Osozai Pun in Japan. It takes 10 minutes to make one. It may take 7 minutes, but it feels…

PERFECT TOAST! good for kitchen and dining room

ok i thought it was a complete scam before i bought it. And FYI, this Transformer is big, ugly and heavy as a rock so it's up to you to use it or not. types of bread. Luckily I live in New York so I have Japanese soft morning toast ranging from thin slices (8 slices per bag) to super thick slices (4 slices per bag) so it's not hard to find if you're in Katagiri or any other look for japanese grocery store/bakery you will find it. But FYI, they mostly contain butter and cream, so watch out for…
