Mine showed the correct color

I think the other review must have gotten a bug because mine showed up the correct white color. Other than that, it's a regular siding block that does the work of installing the outdoor lighting. You cut a rectangular hole in the siding, nail the backing behind the siding, and then snap the trim panel in front of the siding. I ordered it by mail order because it matched the ones a contractor installed a few years ago that weren't available in local stores.
