Like many pet owners, I've experienced "accidents" with pets. There are some good cleaners out there. They smell nice and some are really good at removing stains. However, the "smell" bait brings the snoopers back to the crime scene. Dogs or cats will usually find this stain on your carpet, furniture, etc. They may not see or smell it, but they will. You'll want to re-tag him often. Among the odors that are difficult to remove permanently, cat sprays rank first. The only downside to PeePee is the cost, as deodorization requires enough product to saturate the area where the accident happened. At least PeeWee works. This is important. I had some vintage items in my closet that were splattered pretty badly. I put them in the washing machine and then put a PeePee over them and let them sit for a while. Then I turned on the machine and let it sink in. No hot water due to delicate items. I then used a mild detergent on the gentle cycle and did it again. The smell has disappeared and the things that were sent to the trash can have been preserved. Warning: Don't forget to classify items by color fastness. I haven't had any problems because I follow this rule.
