I had to unscrew a hose fitting and the sealant used was stuck to it. I had to use a hacksaw to cut the hose spigot nut off so I could clamp it in a vise and use a long wrench to loosen the fitting, then scrape off the adhesive and add the teflon tape. Also, the red gossip pin was too loose and bounced too easily. I had to thread a few pieces of thread through the handle (don't overdo it) just enough to keep it from jumping around. Otherwise we'll see how they hold up.

This product is quite well made. It gives consistent readings, although I don't have a reference to make sure the reading is correct. The fitting is well made with threads that fit nicely onto the stub and includes a rubber washer so it's ready to use. The big downside is that the red "high point" needle is set very loose, totally unusable.
