This is the first time I've bought a refurbished laptop and so far it's been so good *knock on wood*. It's quite small compared to what I've been using for several years. I'm still figuring out the keyboard layout, touchpad. Everything else works fine. 2 things I don't like: 1) A bit heavy for a 14 inch screen 2) Fan on the bottom, so "hot paw" if you work too long! This laptop is pretty fast and I give credit to the processor and RAM, of course 8GB is always better than 4. No problem activating Windows, just make sure you scratch the hidden activation code underneath the laptop lightly with a coin. there are two channels. 5 makes it fast. The keyboard isn't backlit :( but the backlit CAPS LOCK key makes it less distracting when you're typing your passwords. My updates after activating windows went straight through and it was a pleasant surprise. I once contacted the seller with a general question and they were very helpful and responded quickly. after all it's revain. if you don't get good customer service here where else? I hope this is my only review on this product.
