This is of excellent quality and looks very nice. If you are thinking of those other superseller status ties with 1,000+ reviews that might be a little cheaper than this one, do yourself and your kid a favor and pay a few bucks more for this great product. Slip-on clips are also good as their mechanism is too simple to fail. I bought these two other top seller ties (both were satin). Both just fell into my hands when I put them on my son for the very first time and made my son cry because he wasn't wearing a tie just before the event. And that's why I bought 2. So I was very upset to say the least. If you absolutely must buy the others I mentioned, order a few more.
