Save money and buy something more reliable Bought this system to house my raid drives. a week later the headlights of the top drive began to dim. Functionality was retained, so I figured it might be dust blocking the diodes. When I pulled out and examined all the discs, I found that the diodes in the upper part were burned out. Might buy again but will consider my options. **Update: As of July 22, 2017, this device has been running non-stop since March. Disconnected for scheduled maintenance. When I turned it back on, I heard a loud buzzing noise. So I take the case off to find the sound. It turns out that the fan on this device is out of order. a replacement fan is $15 for two packs here on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CZFUOD0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1*** Update: March 2019, this motherboard survives. It's been running 24/7 as a raid array for two years and still is. I am withdrawing my one star rating and changing it to four stars.
