Review on πŸͺ‘ Grey Mesh High-Back Drafting Chair with Adjustable Foot Ring and Flip-Up Arms - Ideal Tall Office Chair for Standing Desks by Tracy Knight

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It looks good in the picture but poor quality and poor quality.

Quality not as described. Taped holes did not allow tightening. Contacted the seller, provided a photo. They sent a useless video. It appears that the product is not defective. It was probably necessary to just send it back, but the chair is very necessary. I reluctantly decided to fix the problem. Using my veneer calipers I confirmed that the holes had not been cut properly and the screws that were supplied were of such poor quality that the threads were not making proper contact with the holes. I ended up retaping the hole and bought 4 M6-1.00x20 stainless steel screws to attach it properly. After all that effort, the chair is fine at best. Looks good in the picture, but (1.) NO high back (2.) It's not the best comfort for long periods of sitting - the cushion deforms easily and becomes uncomfortable. It also tilts forward slightly without adjustment (3rd). As mentioned, the arms are low. (4.) No lumbar support. (5.) It says it's rated at 285 pounds. I'm 6ft 2in and 215lbs. The chair doesn't feel as heavy/stable as I would like, especially in the elevated position. In general everything is fine. It's just that the quality and support is a lot lower than I expected.
