I liked the idea of a double filter cartridge to clean the water after gravel removal. However, I have found that running with a single chamber increases water flow and is faster for my needs. The filter housing is cheap and can crack if care is not taken. The exhaust nozzle cracked as soon as I put it on. It still fits and stays in place. for the price it's worth it. The water flow is strong - stronger if you use one or none of the filter heads. Plastic bits are pretty cheap, but the head itself feels solid. The small air valve/hose causes microbubbles in my tank so I don't use it.
