Review on Oakley Square Wire Sunglasses: Rectangular Frame Design by Bryan Aleman

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Get them in Prizm Black Polarized though!

EDIT AGAIN: Back to 5 stars! Time for a humble cake. I forgot I did this review but I have since bought TWO pairs of square wires (different lenses) claiming they were useless. As for the "they cracked my head" case? Yes, they are metal, they bend a little. Can't speak to this particular seller as it seems some people have had issues but the Square Wire frames themselves are versatile, look great and if I had to settle for one pair of sunglasses it would be the Square Wires with black polarized Prizm lenses everywhere! EDIT: Downgraded to 2 stars from my original 5. They're fine as long as I don't have to wear them for more than a short time, but they give me a headache afterwards. more than a few hours. I can wear my Flak 2.0 all day, either on my face or on my head, and I hardly notice they're there. I would have sent them back if I hadn't already gone through the return window. Should have bought them from a specific retailer in the mall that has a 90 day return policy! My stance on lenses remains, but I don't need frames as I wear flaks all the time to feel comfortable. I will try to sell them privately. ORIGINAL: I really like her. I first bought a pair with the new Prizm lenses but the tint was ridiculously warm - they looked like it was evening. I sent them back and ordered these and they are beautiful! Nice cool shade of grey, ridiculously clean.

Pros
  • An ultra-lightweight C-5 alloy frame material with an acetate core created by fusing five metal compounds to create an ultra-strong chassis.
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
