Review on 💻 Frameless ViewSonic VA2456-MHD Monitor with DisplayPort, Anti-Glare IPS Display, 1920x1080P, 60Hz, HD by Jedo Krishna

Was very disappointed when I turned it on to see really weak colors. Any vibration is missing. Usually, monitors and TVs come ready to use, making them stand out on the trading floor. This one was lame from the start. I immediately went to the brightness setting and found that it was set to a maximum of 100% by default. That's when I found out that Viewsonic itself recognized this as a problem and set the brightness to 100% out of the box. I then tried different modes, of which Game was the brightest. Also, the color temperature I opted for was bluish, giving me what appears to be the whitest of whites. However, it's not bright enough yet. Finally, it doesn't seem to go to sleep completely after putting my laptop to sleep via the HDMI connection. It turns on about every 3 minutes and indicates the source is unavailable. I have to press the small power button on the monitor to keep it from turning off. It won't work, those little buttons are hard to press and generally not meant to be toggled on and off repeatedly. I sent it back and wouldn't recommend it.
