Review on πŸ’‡ Andis 32400 Slimline Pro Lithium Ion T-blade Trimmer: The Ultimate Chrome Grooming Tool by Angela Jones

Worked great. approx. 2 weeks

Due to Andis' reputation as a manufacturer I spent more money on this product compared to the competition. I've always bought cheaper beard trimmers and decided to spend the extra money to get something that will last and maybe work a little better. The first two times I used it it was exactly what I was hoping for and then a few more. Very sharp blades, cut very well and the battery life is definitely better than usual. I mainly use it to trim my beard and keep things nice and trim around the ears and for a short time it did both better than anything I had. Fast forward to yesterday and it got TOTALLY boring! Both times I've used it before, I've cleaned it thoroughly, applied some of the oil that came with it and charged it fully between uses. The last time I used it, I immediately noticed that it was pulling my whiskers quite hard at one point on the blades. He still cuts well aside from the plucking (I thought) so I gave him a good comb and started quickly combing around the ears (where my hair is already very short but bothers me if it gets a little longer). Stubble). This thing messed up my hair so much that at first I thought something somehow got stuck in my hair. My hair is now parted on both sides around the ears and sideburns to the top of my head. To the point where I feel like I've burned my scalp. My girlfriend looked closely and said that it looks like someone ran a razor blade through every strand of hair and there are a few hairs that haven't even been cut yet. I have no idea how the supposedly "high" trimmer got dull enough to tear through my hair after 3 uses, but this is clearly unacceptable. I will contact the seller and/or return this item today. Very disappointed.
