Well, I can't exactly rate the increase in MPG, horsepower or smoothness since I installed this at the same time using a long-expired set of connectors, wires and a distributor cap and rotor. I also cleaned the throttle body and IACV when installed. But installation was very easy and after this ROUND OF MAINTENANCE the idle has settled down a bit, throttle response was smoother and a little better and I got a significant amount of mpg. On a 3" lifter with a 31 motor, stock gears and an EXTREMELY WEAR SPARK PLUG KIT AND CARBON THROTTLE BODY, my average of 13mpg was 19mpg on my commute, which is mostly highway. Again, I can't stress enough that I don't know what to classify as this product and what as an overdue service. But it looks good and sounds cool when you push the pedal all the way down. And at least it gave me a reason to cure my tuberculosis.
