Disclaimer. My old SMSL Q5 Pro came in an open box from Revain. It sounded good but a little hissed. It seems that the issue was unique to my device as other reviews about it had no issues. However, I will not hold back the noise of the device since I bought it used. I've only had it a few days and already I like this device a lot better than the SMSL Q5 Pro. Bypass) indicator/Clear Interface screen may turn off. It turns off automatically, so if you change something it will light up again for a moment - Bluetooth (tested and sounds the same as wired) Cons: No cons for now but will update this when I use it. What for me is SMSL Q5 driving my desktop speakers (Dayton 630?) and I would set it to 5/6 most of the time and that was a lot of sound (and had big steps between numbers). I set this block to 10/15 (and has smaller increments between numbers). Eventually I'll check the volume levels and let you know if they have any correlation. The Z reviews recommended this as an all-in-one desktop DAC/amp/headphone combo, and he was right to give his blessing. However, with a subwoofer, it would be difficult to find such a combination at this price point.
