This model is a few hundred more than many of the import no-name brands, but it really is nicer. There are twice the number of fingers which does make a difference when using it, all of the parts feel better made and fit/finish is quite good. If you are expecting Pexto quality, don't. You wont find any roller bearings, clamp downs holders or adjustable back stops, but hey, its only $500. For light production and hobby work, it is perfect. I bent narrow pieces of 12 ga steel and it had no issues at all. Just make sure the gaps are adjusted right and if you need a breaker bar to make the bend, it is probably going to damage it. Mine did arrive with a few shipping screws broken off and it was rattling in the box. But other than a few minor scratches, it was just fine. It really is too heavy and awkward for UPS shipping, but trucking is too expensive to just keep your fingers crossed.
