What's good: It's exactly what you paid for. Inexpensive and small speakers that do their job. I really don't need to tell you that they won't offer a multidimensional soundscape for music lovers or anything like that. But that's exactly what you need if you just want to listen to your daily podcast, or if you're not picky about audio and just need something cheap that works. Bad: cable. These speakers are designed for laptops, not desktops. Your desk MUST be to the right of the monitor, not the left, for the cable to reach it. Even then. that's long enough for laptops, but hardly applicable for a desktop setup. My speakers are further behind the monitor than I would like, simply because the cable doesn't reach them. An additional downside: the cable is pretty flimsy, and if I squeeze it even a little, the speakers emit a sound. an awful buzz/squeak that makes me jump out of my pants. I have to wiggle the cable until it finds the right position for the sound to stop. It's fine 90% of the time, but it's annoying having to do this every time I accidentally nudge it while plugging in a USB drive or whatever. TL; DR is a good and cheap cable suitable for laptops, too short for desktop PCs, thin and can cause sound problems
