Very durable. best tv accessory

We recently bought a Samsung MU9000 65 inch TV. While waiting for the MU9000 to arrive, we used our old 55-inch Samsung TV. This wall mount easily holds any TV. I mentioned both because the 55" felt heavier than the 65". I didn't weigh her to prove it, but it seemed so to me. Before installing the TV, make sure all 4 screws fit into the plate you are installing on the TV. Your screws should go smoothly. If this is not the case, do not use force, but make sure that the machined threads are clean. I mean the plate on the brackets that you attach to your TV. It has 4 screw holes and you will screw two screws in the top, then hang the tv on the wall mount with those 2 screws, then there are two more screws that you need to insert once you have hung the tv on top. 2 screws. Check all 4 before turning on the TV. When the threads were finished at the factory they didn't remove the scrap metal from ours and I ended up having to take the TV off the mount to clean the threads on the bottom two holes. It's not easy to hang a 65" TV on those two tiny 1/8" screws, so make sure everything is in place before you install it so you don't have to do it twice. The tilt adjustment is a bit fiddly. There is a release knob on one side so you can adjust the TV, but there is a nut on the other side. Both should be loose so you can tilt the TV and both should be tight. This requires two people because as soon as you release both sides, the TV tilts forward and simply releasing the knob stops its movement. be very careful If you loosen both too much, the TV will suddenly fold/tilt forward. If you don't loosen them far enough, you may apply too much force to the TV, causing it to tilt and damage the screen.3. You may not be able to find the right size screws to attach the brackets to the back of your TV. They were either too long or too short. And TV manufacturers will not help here. We bought Samsung's recommended length and they were too short for the bottom holes, but will fit in the top holes when using the Samsung proprietary spacers that came with the MU9000. We ended up using the spacers and long screws that came with the wall mount. for bottom holes. Just note that if you're getting this for the MU9000 you won't get the correct screws for every location and the length that Samsung says won't work for the bottom holes, but you'll need to use them for the top holes. I recommend getting a light Loctite liquid threadlocker. Something lightweight so you can easily remove the screws if needed, but protect them from vibration from the speakers and nearby subwoofer when the TV is booted up. I highly recommend this wall mount despite a few things I've come across. It was all a typical assembly line, typical of everything I've come across these days, and it didn't really matter.

Pros
  • confident
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Would not recommend this mount unless under ideal circumstances
