I trusted this unit to provide back up power for the freezer. Plugged into 120v and 200ah lithium 12v batteries. Was working just fine until it failed. Unknown failure right now but cost us $4K in meat for our family. For that, this is garbage and I can’t recommend. Learned a valuable lesson over this. I will never compromise buying quality equipment again, unfortunately this piece of equipment is not up to the task. Unit failed with using pass through power and didn’t even experience an actual power fail other than the numerous testing I performed before relying on and trusting that it would work.Do not use as back up emergency power for refrigeration or freezer type needs, you certainly may be let down.Update: I have been load testing this system @98% load on and off for a couple weeks.I can’t be sure the inverter failed. Its not fair to post a terrible review before figuring out the issue. I believe power failed from power company, and when things came back on somehow the breaker tripped in the panel. I believe the one who reset the breaker did not realize it was tripped and they told me it was not that as the cause. I will never know at this point. I tested this thing pretty heavy before putting it into service and it never failed in an configuration and it is holding up again with said testing. I belive the system did exactly as I expected and ran the batteries down to low voltage disconnect.I can’t trust it for a freezer on its own so I added a victron globallink 520 to monitor remotely and I will try it again in that capacity.I believe I need to change my viewpoint and rating for this unit because I can’t say the inverter charger actually was the failureI will leave up my previous comments just to help others not go through what we did and at a large expense. Bottom line I learned that I should of had remote connectivity to monitor things from afar.
