Review on Toshiba 2TB Canvio Basics USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - High-Speed Storage Solution by Tim Sterling

I couldn't find this hard drive for over 2 years after I placed it somewhere in my house during a spring cleaning. I eventually forgot and a few days ago I realized that I really need a hard drive because as an avid music listener there are times when your favorite song is no longer available anywhere on the internet and you want to share it with yours. Friends. I was angry because most of my songs were on Lexar USB and that was the worst to use and I had to discard some of them because my laptop didn't recognize them or the USB port itself was badly damaged. and would not connect to my laptop. Somehow I discovered it was my parents room and plugged it in and thank goodness it actually worked and still held over 100GB of media content. Unlike most of the users here who give poor reviews in terms of durability, I don't use this hard drive on a daily basis or plug it into my laptop a million times. I don't drop it or pull the cable when I'm done with it. My house gets a lot of dust accumulation every day due to the millions of acorns surrounding my property, so I make sure I keep it in a non-mesh storage bag with plenty of padding in case I accidentally drop it. You should not use or abuse this hard drive, treat it like a newborn baby! I haven't even used anywhere near the 150GB of the 1TB my hard drive came with, I can see it's going to last! I love that it's very light and portable, you don't have to be the type of person to carry around those heavy hard drives. Save your money and sore arm and buy this!
