It's funny and our rabbits love them but I've decided not to give them to our dwarf hamster. She broke her leg and recently had her rear left foot amputated, so I don't trust toys with small holes like almost all of these anymore. You could easily catch and damage the hamster's foot. Luckily she is fine and I learned an important lesson about buying hamster toys. Also the picture of the toys is misleading as they are quite big for a rodent. For example, a ball that looks like half a hamster in a photo is actually larger than our real hamster. Even if it doesn't have tiny slots for catching and holding a paw, the ball itself is probably still too big for her to play with safely.
