I would have given it a 5 star if it were not for a couple of tiny wood pieces missing. Good thing I was able to make one from extra wood frame. Assembling is not hard if you understand what the pictorial was illustrating to you. As for sturdiness, it is meant to be delicate so it cannot be sturdy. I love it over all and took my sweet time to complete. It gives me joy to look through all the tiny pieces and glue them together. If you have the patience, it is an awesome craft to buy.

This is not the first one of these dollhouse kits I've put together. The instructions are not super clear, they take a little bit of finesse but the thing that's really starting to aggravate me is the fact that every single kit I've gotten has been missing at least one thing. This is my third kit and my plan is to buzz through every kit they make. These are so very intricate and you need a lot of patience. I have a few suggestions:1. Get a stand alone magnifying glass. You will be able to see much better since these kits are half the size of normal kits (which are 1:12)2. Get a really sharp exacto knife. This was a fun and relaxing project. I chose the "blue" house but I customized it to my own color pallet using some of my own papers and fabrics in place of the one's it came with. The directions are very thorough and easy to follow. This is more of a display house than an actual dollhouse, I wouldn't recommend it for children to play with. This kit is well-desiged, with nice details like the separate bathroom and 5 lights which run under the upper floor inside a pre-cut groove. The directions are in English and are better than some of the others I've built where I've had to figure out so much of it on my own.
