This was a fun and relaxing project. I chose the "blue" house but I customized it to my own color pallet using some of my own papers and fabrics in place of the one's it came with. The directions are very thorough and easy to follow. This is more of a display house than an actual dollhouse, I wouldn't recommend it for children to play with. You can easily switch out fabrics and wallpaper if the colors aren't your favorite since everything has a pattern for assembly. You will be making everything except the fridge, toilet and some little accessories. Elmer's glue all, gorilla gel super glue, and permanent double sided fabric tape are a must, as well as good craft tweezers, Exacto knife, and some small needle nose pliers. You learn as you go, it's not difficult, but does require patience. I love my peaceful little house.
