Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Cooler Master MasterCase H500 ARGB Airflow ATX Mid-Tower - Mesh & Transparent Front Panel, Dual 200mm ARGB Fans, Tempered Glass & ARGB Lighting System by Kai Wen แ Œ

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I wasn't thrilled with the product, but it can be used.

3. RGB hub, apparently, only three fans. If you want to put backlit valves upstairs, then that's it, you will have to buy a separate rgb hub. By the way, the aircule has a hub for 6 valves. 4. Rear valve 120x120 for blowing out immediately for ejection. Chinese noun for 50. It crackles terribly. Immediately add 500-1000 for an additional valve to this case. In the 2022, this particular model, like 200x200, is no longer available, only 120x120, so you have to choose another one, or look somewhere else. 5. "Cooler Master MasterFan MF200R" front valves have mixed reviews. A considerable percentage of marriage may begin to crack in a year. Complain about low speed. The price for them is from 800 to 1500 for each. Figure out what and how. For myself, I note that at first these valves are very quiet, but then I donโ€™t know. 6. As for me, it is inconvenient to unscrew the side glass. There are no lambs. You need a screwdriver (which will ruin the appearance of the bolts) or a plastic card. Why, why? Unclear. 7. The front panel needs to be opened with such wild force that every time it seems that you broke it. 8. Button for switching the backlight the size of a fingernail, it is only with a fingernail and squeeze it. Why? What for? Again, it's not clear. I bought this case for 6k with a penny. Incredible coincidence. One store (I will not name it), which does not have an entirely adequate system of returns and replacement of goods, made a mistake (I will not write which one). I managed to take this case not for 8-9k, but for 6k. And yes, the lowest price in the country for this case at that moment was around 7100-7500. Therefore, I did not return this case back, I simply would not have changed it at the same price, although the manufacturer advised me to do so. I had to make crutches with electrical tape. Is it worth 6k with a penny? Yes, probably. Given that AirHawk costs about the same, and this is still nonsense. Is it worth 8-9k? Definitely not. I would look at the older model, which costs about 2-3k more on sale, although the older model also has its drawbacks.

Pros
  • Before buying this case, I strongly recommend everyone to read my review. I am writing this review taking into account the fact that the price of this case now varies from 8000 to 9000. On the merits: 1. The good thickness of the metal, when you see the case in person, gives the impression of "solidity". Before that, there was a tin can from AeroCool One Eclipse / AirHawk (see the prices yourself). The right cover, like the AirHawk, which is especially the One Eclipse, if you pick it up, can play, hoot and flex slightly. Immediately, the H500 has a noticeably thicker lid, from which there are no such problems. Well, the weight of the case itself is 9.2 kg, against the Aerokulov ones of 5-6 kg. 2. When you open it, you understand that the case is made for people. There are rubber bands everywhere, rubber bands under the bp, the height from the floor is decent, the air intake for the bp is excellent. Nothing creaks, no backlash. The plugs for the video card are unscrewed. There is plenty of space for cable management on the side behind the rack for the mother. Many cases have a problem with this, you have to literally push the right cover with force, but here everything is ok with that. The filter under the power supply is not just some kind of nonsense that hangs there on the snot, but a mesh with a plastic frame, with a handle to make it convenient to push and pull. 3. 200x200 fans in theory should create silence. 4. The body is spacious. 5. Design. Taste. But for a four with a minus, the design of 2022-2022, although in life it looks more presentable. As for me, I consider it an omission not to cover the HDD with a casing, like bp. They did this only in the older model. Why? For convenience, to make it easier to slide in and out? Controversial, in fact, very controversial. Well, it's not a minus, you can put up with it. 6. The filter is double in front: first comes the mesh, then another one. Must catch dust. The downside is that it dampens the air flow and dust will constantly settle. Minus - the filter is not separate, as on aerocules. You can not refuse it to increase the air flow. Now let's move on to the negatives.
Cons
  • 1. The first thing you may have to deal with is the power button. Personally, I rattled like a rattle, in addition, when you press it and release it, a nasty sound was heard throughout the top panel. But this is a case for 8-9k. Even AeroCool does not have this. Why "perhaps"? Because I naturally filmed all this on camera and sent it to the manufacturer. The manufacturer first said "yes, this is the norm", and then after some time they wrote that they had checked it on their case and they did not have such sounds. Marriage? Possibly marriage. When I climbed in to see what was happening there under the button, why such a vibration occurs, everything fell into place: under the button there is a white plastic frame. This plastic skeleton is nailed to the case, which creates a kind of "tension" so that the button can move back. When you press the button, the plastic frame lowers and touches the "tumbler" itself. When the plastic frame comes into contact with the plastic toggle switch itself, a vile sound occurs. After the button returns and the plastic frame flies rapidly to its original position, it hits its frame against the plastic case, which creates such vile vibrations and sounds. Whether it is admissible such in the case for 8-9k? How did I solve the problem? I stuck pieces of electrical tape under the frame and between the toggle switch and the problem was solved. What could the manufacturer do? Just glue the rubber bands at the price of 1 under the frame and between the button. The cooler master said that they would pass this information to the right place. I do not think that this is a marriage, it seems to me that this is a constructive error. 2. How to write correctly. The body was clearly designed not for 200x200 valves, but for 120x120 valves. 200x200 valves are cut off by 30% by the body. Why? 3. The front valves have a poor set of backlight options, they donโ€™t shine as brightly as you want + it feels like they didnโ€™t put diodes into the fans, they saved on everything and it all looks like Chinese valves for 3 kopecks. I will continue in the comments, then it will be shorter.
