Review on Hopkins 48845 12 Tail Light Converter: Efficiently Converts Tail Light Signals with Ease by Brian Edwards

Exactly what I needed - great replacement

We have a 2001 Infiniti QX4 with a socket for the hitch and trailer. Our small Boston whaling ship has been restored and the trailer fitted with new LED lights. The headlights tested fine with the battery, but one side did not light up when braking. The turn signal worked on the same light so it was very puzzling. Under the rear of the QX4 was a box that used the car's brake lights to use the signal lights in the trailer as brake lights. This was the only thing that could cause my problem of not catching fire when braking on one side. After a long search I found this article. There were many converters with cables and connectors that I don't need. This converter was exactly what I needed to solve my problem. The old rusty trailer headlights must have burned out a bit in the old converter. After replacing everything worked!
