I bought this specifically for wall mounting: I wanted something relatively small and white that wouldn't stand out on my living room wall. (Its primary purpose is to power the Wi-Fi range extender hotspot.) It fits the bill in terms of looks - it's stylish and the LED light is small and dim. However, the mount was PITA. Yes, it comes with 3M double-sided tape (conveniently precut around the circle), but this thing only works on very smooth surfaces; This will not work on textured drywall. So I had to use the mounting holes, which is what I expected, but I didn't expect them to be so small. Finding screws that fit the keyholes and were long enough to punch through the drywall and into the stand was a real challenge. Second, and more importantly, the mounting holes on the extension are staggered, making it very difficult to accurately mark the correct spot on the wall to drill the holes. NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: Would it be difficult for you guys to include a paper template to easily mark the mounting holes?
