Review on 🐠 Lominie S120 Saltwater: WiFi Enabled LED Aquarium Light for Vibrant Coral Reef Tanks by Dee Howard

First impressions were that this lantern is great. Anyone who has a hobby knows pendant lights from other big brands. I won't name them, but they cost $350-550. These are just as good at a fraction of the price. I took the opportunity to look at it. I have used it in an aquarium with small fish that I plan to remodel after hatching. At this point it is very easy to hang up the rear filter and light. The tank this light shines on is only 50 gallons and about 30 inches high. That would be great for a little mixed riff. Just to be clear, this review is not blind, I have seven aquariums at the moment and four of those are marine aquariums. It has a nice not too blue spectrum when all channels are on. Slightly lighter blue than ati bp t5. For people who like super blue or actinic, you can choose these colors based on light output. It has four channels and you can customize it to your liking. You can daisy chain multiple lights and have a remote control which is a nice feature. The light is perfect for a deep tank at 100%. For smaller tanks you may need to reduce it a bit. I took a frag from another tank and held it up to the glass and they fluoresced nicely. See attached photos. I took nominal measurements with a light four inches above the water. You can also see tape underwater at the 3, 6, 12, and 24 inch marks. 3" 950+, 6" 540+, 12" 285+ and 24" 160+. To add up the nominal readings, they will be about 9% or more higher if you add correction factors to the blue LEDs. I like this light, I hope it lasts. Appears to be of good build quality. The only thing I really didn't like were the mounting clips and the remote control settings. The clips oddly sit on top of traditional tanks but are strong enough to hold the light in any way I might install. They could have put a backing on it so it doesn't go in when flush like other brands. When I have time I will use another mount they also include. For the remote control, when switching percentages, you need to turn on other channels. Actually, it's nothing to worry about.
