A good base that protects the floor.

Just a hard rubber or plastic mat that keeps dirt and water off the floor. I use it under my dog's water bowl. I have nothing good to say about it, let alone anything terrible. I don't know how durable it will be over time, but it's not something that should be subjected to heavy use. In my case, it may have been touched or groped. If used as intended, it is possible that the sides will fray over time due to the bending of the shoes/boots.
