Review on Floor Standing Bluetooth Tower Speaker, Home Stereo System Floor Speakers, Home Theater Floor Standing Speakers, VENLOIC Bluetooth Tower Speakers with Enhanced Bass by Vince Preston

We bought this floorstanding speaker to fill an empty corner in our living room. We tried to find something within our budget and this Venloic tower speaker was a great buy at the time. It really exceeded our expectations. The packaging is typical for large electronics. The package includes floorstanding speaker, wooden base, remote control and user manual. The first thing that caught my attention was the wood finish. It's very nicely done. I prefer wood for speaker cabinets because it offers better acoustics than plastic. One thing I didn't like is that it takes a bit of assembling to screw the base to the speaker, but it's very minor. It is very easy to set up and use, I didn't even have to read the instructions. My iPhone and iPad connected via Bluetooth with no problems. The first few songs I played sounded a bit muddy and my wife noticed that too. Having a lot of experience with speakers, I know it's ok the first time you use it. The speakers needed some burnout. There are a lot of burnt sounds/music on the net and I played them continuously for a couple of hours. After firing, the tone became clearer and sounded softer. I'm happy with the result. While one couldn't expect much bass from such small speakers, they did pack a decent punch at higher volumes. The sound from these speakers is very balanced which means if you are looking for a specific sound signature you will need to use an equalizer, some music apps have equalizers or you can download third party apps for this purpose. In terms of volume, it's loud enough to fill a relatively large room or living room. I recommend placing this speaker in a corner as the corner provides a good directional waveform for a fuller sound. I also tried hooking it up to our TV and it sounds fine for movies, but the OCD in me felt it was unbalanced without another speaker on the other side of the TV. If you plan to use this for your TV I suggest you have 2 of these on each side for aesthetic reasons. Overall, I'm impressed with what this tower can do. Just make sure you give it some time to get the best sound. If you're looking for a floorstanding speaker, this is a good option.
