My boyfriend and I have gone to the beach the past two years and have tried fancy umbrellas and tents and they have broken or are too hard to assemble. This year I was fed up and just wanted a simple, sturdy umbrella. We used this thing every single day for 8 days straight and there was only one day we didn’t put it up the entire day due to wind. So easy to set up and twisted right into the sand. Offered the perfect amount of shade for 2-3 of us. It was a calm day and we had zero issues. Would totally recommend!

Was easy to put up and the auger worked well so umbrella was deep in the sand. Held up just fine even in pretty strong wind at the beach.

I bought this for the beach and have never used it on one. But I have used it on my back porch and it works great. It holds up to wind, kids dogs and me shoving it around. Would definitely buy again.

I use the umbrella for a shape on my lawn tractor. It does exactly what I need. One big draw back is that the push button that holds the umbrella in place (open) seems to be too sensitive-it allows the umbrella to collapse. I had to remove the button and just clamp it in place. Works for me but probably not to good for beach application.

Perfect umbrella for two maybe three. We were looking for something light and durable outside of the four leg canopy. It seemed to hold up with little wind very well. Love the bag. Very light.

Tried this out at the beach with a mild wind. Easy to put up and worked perfectly. Hopefully, will continue to work perfectly. The umbrella Size was good for 2 adults in camping chairs. Haven't tried the angle feature yet. Definitely cuts UV exposure (had to put jackets on to keep warm).

This is a great sun umbrella. First what I like: it is sturdy, it is tiltable, height is continuously adjustable, it has a carrying case, and it looks good. The plastic screw anchor doesn’t seem to work very well. I knew this before purchasing the umbrella, so I also purchased a metal screw anchor. I put both screw anchors to the task and found that the metal one (which has a sharper point) worked much better. But, don’t let this sway you from purchasing this umbrella.

Size is good for up to 3 people in chairs. Reasonably easy to get deep enough into sand. East to open and angle. Overall a good beach umbrella at a medium high price.

When we ordered this umbrella I really wasn't convinced that it could withstand ocean wind, but it did! And the ability to angle it keeps you in the shade. Don't usually write these reviews but am so pleased with this purchase.

Great sturdy umbrella and anchor that came sooner than expected. It is better than the one I purchased from Costco and larger. I did not realize the anchor was for sand only. I needed to purchase another anchor from Ammsun for the ground/grass but received that quickly also. Just be sure you understand the anchor is for sand only.

Just got back from the beach where we used it every day for a week. I can tell you I never worried about it coming out of the sand. I was even amazed to see that the anchor was only halfway put in the sand by the kids and it still was sturdy. Never had a chance to use the tilt feature. Overall great value for the money

We recently used this for the first time this past week in FL. Set up was quick and easy. Stand was easy to turn in the sand. It held the umbrella in tightly. I really like that the umbrella was lined and not see through. There was plenty of room for 2 us with oversized camping chairs to sit underneath. Lightweight and easy to carry.

We used it for a week at Dewey Beach, DE. While none of the days were exceptionally windy, there was a typical beach breeze most of the time and it held firm. The poles holding the umbrella part seem thicker and sturdier than others (at least more than my $18 WalMart beach umbrella that snapped the first day we used it this summer!). The anchor is easy to put in and makes the whole things so much more secure, and even the contraption tam hat attaches the top pole to the bottom pole is much more

It lives up to its promise as a heavy wind beach umbrella. Easy to assemble and provides plenty of shade for two people. Highly recommend.
