Perfect balance and blade strength.

This is by far the best kitchen knife I have ever owned. It's too early to judge the holding advantage, but it almost doesn't matter. I love this tool for slicing, dicing and meat. Update: The blade of this knife takes a lot of wear and tear from a few weeks of normal use in the kitchen. The steel is of very poor quality, which will become unusable in a year.
