Nice additions and a decent size between all standard US sized hooks. Find the right hook for the right strength. The ones I've tested so far are nice and smooth and all the hooks seem to be the right size. But the two biggest hooks can't be used because the poles are too small. I bought this set specifically for large hooks as my current project needed a little more than what I already had, but it turned out that 8mm, 9mm and 10mm rods all 8- mm rods were. The hooks keep getting bigger, but I can't keep the stitch size consistent when the stem is significantly smaller than the hook. That leaves me with a choice: send this set back and find another similar set that has all the large hooks the right size (unfortunately this is an issue with some of these sets I've already reviewed), or just buy the larger one. Hooks of a well-known brand of decent quality.
