I bought this to use on the K-S2 and I love it. Insanely fast focusing, relatively light and portable lens. The image quality is good throughout the zoom range. The PLM focusing is incredibly fast, quiet and doesn't have the seek problems Pentax often suffer from. While the Pentax is not generally recommended for sports or other high-speed photography, this lens does a very good job and at the three air shows I took it to I never found it to be lacking. I have since switched from a K-S2 to a K1 mk2 and originally intended to sell this lens to buy a 150-450 (another great lens) but decided to keep it for travel as well. It's basically the same size as the 28-105mm FA lens. Due to the size of this lens and the low vignetting at full frame, it can still be used on the FF platform. Summary: For APS-C, this is one of the best telephoto lenses available. For FF it's perfect. as a telephoto travel lens when you need more range but want to avoid the bulk of a much larger lens.
