I'm older and need things that are easy to set up and use. All I had to do with this mouse was plug the remote into a USB port on my laptop and then plug the mouse into a different port to charge it. He recommends charging the mouse first before using it, but I actually started using it right away. After it was fully charged, I unplugged it from the charging cable and continued using it. super easy. Works as it should. The charging cable is not very long (about 12 inches) and you can charge it from your computer/laptop. It doesn't need a special charging station or anything like that. It is very attractive when the interior lights are on. The lights alternate with blue, purple, green, red, pink. That is very nice.
