The lock has failed. for lock parts

This bolt is completely out of order! It's been less than 6 months and everything has gone bad. When I say everything went wrong, I mean it doesn't work anymore. So we were completely locked in and out. The handle worked well for us and moved, but the latch didn't stick and didn't move. So we had to take the door off its hinges to get in and out of the house. Unfortunately I can't return it because the return period has expired. I have a feeling it should last well over 6 months. Very disappointed! Very uncomfortable! I bought another bar at my local key store and I hope it is of better quality.
